Sony Video Monitor

I have a Sony KX 1410QM Trinitron Color Video Monitor with these ins and outs: BNC video in/out and a phono audio in and a scart AV input. Question . Can I use this monitor as an external monitor for previewing?..is it possible to connect it on a A/D converter. I do have a OHCI compliant IEEE 1394 host controller on my PC. Is it possible to swap the BNC plug with a different type of plug that is more commonly used?...Thanks anyone..just a rookie...

You could get a scart input adapter and go through your camera to the monitor:

John

You can also get BNC to RCA adapters as well from stores like Radio Shack.

Also for a couple bucks you could head to the local Rat Shack and pick up a RCA to BNC adapter and just use standard RCA cables.
