Sony EPM was spotted on an airplane heading to Vegas with a brief case chained to his wrist. He was surrounded by several men in dark suits with communication devices stuck in their ears.

Man, This will be an excruciating weekend.
DataMeister wrote on 4/16/2004, 8:25 AM
You are not kidding. Time will slow down this weekend.

At least I'll have more time to do things. No wait. I forgot. I'm bound by time also.

Don't forget about the time difference between east & west coasts.
We wouldn't want east coasters screaming for details when they wake up Monday morning :-)

...and don’t forget the difference between Australia and the US. Who’s Monday are we talking about? No wait... it’s Sony’s Monday so I expect it should be announced Monday in Japan! ;-)

That's pretty evil of you, Spot...

Personally, I'm most excited about Cool Feature #56...

This scene reminds me of a whole flock of vultures sitting on telephone
pole wires waiting and waiting and lurking about waiting and waiting and then all hell breaks loose.

but we are 0 hours GMT so we should be first

The price we pay for living in the most isolated place on earth...just happens to be the most beautiful too ;-). Also, by way of being picky...change #4 to CONUS (continental US) and Canada for obvious reason. We may be isolated but are still the fiftieth state. Eagerly awaiting Vegas 5!

from one vulture to another If we need to check first thing Monday does that not mean we will see sometime in between now and then

Time to prop my eyelids open with chopsitcks as I fall asleep at my workstation with my chin on the desk

Marquat,
I'm smilin'....and scanning the horizon for the next news flash. Getting a good chuckle out of the vulture image too. Back to work for me.

RANDY !!!
Did you finally start the Hawaii Vegas User's Group? My wife and I expedited our plans as far as moving back to the islands so I might be there within a YEAR. Let me know.
Chienworks wrote on 4/16/2004, 12:23 PM
PAW, yes, you are 0 GMT. However, days start at the international date line, which is exactly the opposite side of the planet from you. 0 GMT is referenced to noon, not to midnight.
PAW wrote on 4/16/2004, 12:56 PM

Oh no, I need to change my watch by 12 hours ;-)

We are talking about the next release of a piece of software, right?
From some of the posts I thought the date of the Next Coming was being announced.
