Once in a blue moon is one thing, but this is the fifth time in two years. Down four hours tonight alone. Last time was only a couple of months ago . . .

I put up a similar though humorous posting about the slowness lately with the last 24 hours, but it disappeared (mod removed, most likely). So expect this one to go the same way... Hopefully someone's working on it. A bit faster now it seems, it's past 10:30 PST here. Progress, I hope :o)
I have often wondered whether computers are really doing the work we think or whether a team of little elves are responsible. Why else is it not possible to transfer money between banks during public holidays? If that is the case then spare a thought for the little workers during this festive time.
Well, the way I put it in my now-defunct posting on this general subject of slow forum was that my guess was that the Sony servers maybe had a bit too much über-spiked Holiday eggnog and just hadn't sobered up yet. Eggnog and circuit boards just don't mix too good, knowhudamean? :o)
