Hi and I have a quick question, I have sony vegas 7.0 platinum and I am trying to add a velocity to a video im making. The thing is i cant find the velocity envelope. Where is it on vegas 7.0 platinum? if you know where it is make a step by step instructions so i know how to add one,
I don't know that Vegas Studio has a velocity envelope. I thought only the full version had it. However, try selecting the video event, then Insert / Envelope / Event velocity, or press V. If that adds a green line through the middle of the event then you have a velocity envelope. If you don't get the green line then Vegas Studio doesn't have this feature.
Chienworks is right. VMS and VMS Platinum do not have the velocity envelope feature.
You can hold the CTRL button and drag the end of an event to make it play faster or shorter. You can also right click on the event, select properties, then manually type in a playback speed, from .25 to 4.00 (I think) -- ie play back from 1/4 original speed to 4 times original speed. Both of these operations affect the entire event.
