Sorry, it's a basic newbie question

I am wondering if someone could tell me how to install or open this Vegas 1.0 program on my PC?

It won't let me open on it when I click, is there a specific app. to use to get this software up and running?

Where did you get the software from ? Did you try the RUN feature in the windows start menu ?

If I understand you correctly, installation went ok, but the program won't start when you double-click the icon? If so, do you have Video Factory installed on this computer?
