okay, so i want to have my daughter sing, as i have her in front of the green screen....
I have her singing and then want to put a video of a group singing bhind her and have her sing along with it....

trouble is, when i put her above the video, the video plays behind her which is good-, but i only get the audio from her, not the music video --- can i not get her audio singing and the audio of the video track music video? thanks

First, are you seeing two audio clips? One from your daughter and one from the music video.?. One audio clip has to be directly above the other audio clip, for example one on track three and one on track four.

well, they are both video tracks though..... one on top with the green screen and one right below it

How many audio tracks do you see?

probably 3, sometimes when you drag video to the timeline, its audio goes ontop of the audio of the first video. To verify this, drag the audio track down one track (the audio event itself, not the header). This should make the audio from the first video visible.
