SOT: Any experience with saffire pro 40 ?

Hello, just wanted to know if some Vegas user has some experience with this sound card to share. It's cheap, it offers ADAT and the routing capabilities I need.

On DMN forum I have found a post stating it won't work with VP9 x64.

I've never used it but we have the saffire LE and saffire pro 24. ASIO drivers, work fine in vegas 8, XP pro 32. The windows 7 default firewire driver won't work, you need to use an older legacy driver. Other than that I would expect it to work. There's no indication in the linked post if that user tried the legacy driver. I have to agree - focusrite support thusfar has been great!
