I was looking to try those expensive archive DVDs on meritline and supermediastore and I can't find them any more. Something like 100 year "gold" disks. Sorry, can't remember exactly what they were called or who makes them. Not much luck searching the normal supply sites.

Did they not really work well, or do they work too well? I want to archive some of my data/knowledge bases/special footage and I don't want to mess around.

I pulled some old DVD-R backups from a couple of years ago and none of my drives reads a few of them anymore. Grrh.
