sot: intensity pro

well, reinstalled with latest drivers and working well so far in 13, resolve, photoshop, etc.,

however, i do have a couple of questions - and i did try looking elsewhere without success (sony's catalyst boards appear dead and deserted).

a. though both browse and prepare show the int. pro as available external monitoring, neither sends a signal out. am i missing something or is this half-baked software?

b. mb looks also shows int. pro as available, but also doesn't work. of course i can blame red giant for this i suppose ;-0 ?

You merely need to research two places - this forum for compatibility - search term intensity pro - or the BlackMagic Design forums. The features are highly dependent on what hardware you have and what you are trying to do.
It is the way it is - which is to say it works - not simple.

really videoitguy, you don't think i haven't done that already?

i don't need condescension, nor an irrelevant reply to straightforward technical questions.

please, if you have no useful knowledge to impart do not reply to any of my posts thank you.

ok, solved b. at least:

seems if vegas is using the int pro card mb can't access it. work around is to simply turn off external mon in vegas and use extenal monitor in mb looks.

unfortunately you can only use a frame grab in mb.

anyway, at least i can now see exactly what i'll be getting one way or another on my calibrated monitor. (the difference isn't THAT noticeable but enough to require some fine tweaking).

btw. travis picked up my question over at the catalyst board, so they're not dead and forgotten ;-)
