Have they tried it? How much did the lens cost? How hazy was the atmosphere?

Actually, the pixel count is 119 times full HD, while the resolution is 19580/1920 = 10 times full HD. (The term "Resolution" derives from the number of lines you can resolve, and therefore is a linear, not area, measurement.)
