sot: nvidia drivers - beta update

ok, so i went to 285.79 almost immediately i got 11 and it cured nearly all my problems - however, i do occasionally have 'blackout' - not me but the card*.

these always restore with a message saying that the nvidia core driver suffered a critical error but has recovered itself.

am i alone with this?

meanwhile, as much as i hate being a front runner, i'm dl'ing the next beta 290.36 to see if it stops the blackouts and DOESN'T affect vegas.

*about once every 4>5 days, pc on 24/11.

Yes, Leslie, I too have registered a properly playing VP11 (B425).

I've added my GPU Driver version to my System Specs. If we all did that then maybe we'll see a pattern emerging? And then again, maybe not.

hadn't registered but they actually ask for the driver on the specs page.

so, latest dl'ed but have to admit to a bit of trepidation about installing it (yes, i've b'ked up and ghosted!).

maybe at the weekend ;-)
