Technicolour have just come up with a gizmo so one can preview timing of answer prints in real time. The old hands thought this kind of destroyed the mystic of the craft.
Prior to this wonder, you just relied on year of experience and waited until the next day for the print to be developed and prayed a bit I guess.
Being able to do this in RT is it seems one of the reasons so many like using DIs rather than the traditional approach.
I'm never going to complain about the lack of RT preview in Vegas again, worst case I might have to wait a few seconds for a RAM render to get an idea how CC plays out with full rate playback.
