Think I finally worked out how I managed to badly screw up some footage from an A1, dumb me had Skin Detail dialled in. Probably OK for CUs but a WIDE shot with lots of people in it, oh dear.
Next time I can get me paws on a A1 I'll try to repo the "look" just to be certain.
Yes, you want to avoid using skin detail on those wide shots that contain more than one face under various lightings. It can make people be a little harsh and it's a challenge to fix in post. I speak from experience on this one...
