Just thought this worthy of a mention as it's heart warming to see the guys who started it all getting the recognition they deserve. Link to article from Studio Daily here.

This quote about the skeletal adversaries in Jason and the Argonauts says a lot:

“What’s amazing—and unique—about his work is that he often brought a sympathetic quality to the creatures, especially during their demise,” notes Grover Crisp, Sony Pictures’ SVP, asset management, film restoration and digital mastering, whose team restored Jason and the Argonauts. “It’s never just a shock-and-awe thing. He gave them some feeling and humanity.”

Excellent news! Thanks for sharing, Bob.

I've been a big Ray Harryhausen fan since I was a kid.

Yes, Bob ...
thanks for passing it along.
It sure brings back many memories ... watching Jason battle the skeletons on a black and white round tv was as exciting as any of the remakes I've seen since...

Until that time... Earl J.

Thanks for the link, Bob. I've much admired his work for many year. It's wonderful that Sony is paying such tribute to one of the industry's greats.
