Forum regular?: "which version have you got"

OP: Cloud

FR: yes but which version? CS6 or CC 2013 or CC 2014?

OP: the latest one. All patches up to date.

FR: yes but which version? CS6 or CC 2013 or CC 2014?

OP: Cloud 2?

FR: There is no Cloud 2. There's CS6 then there's Cloud 2013 the Clou.....................etc

OP Dunno. How do I find out? But I know I'm paying for it and I'm mad as hell since it won't work and I've got a critical deadline in 60 minutes....

I sincerely hope the Adobe cloud flops hard, but I fear it won't.

I stopped at CS6. Adobe must be sweating about that.

At least we know the OP in the exchange was NOT on Cloud 9!

I would rather change my software to a totally different NLE than be sucked into that cloud b****ks.

Sony - take note.
Also, watch Digital Juice - they are tripping down the same rabbit hole.

My first impressions of the cloud thing was like most here but the more I think about it, the more I like the idea especially IF it is done correctly. SCS can greatly benefit from Adobe's mistakes. Being first is not always best.

I still feel that the cloud is not for everyone, so there should be an option to use it or not use it. Incentive discounts for those who do use it such as with the suite of software's that SCS has to offer. For some, especially business people, that would make it much more affordable and cost affective.

Wash your mouth out...

There is no middle ground, a company will either choose to go with the cloud model or not. You will not be offered either one or the other.
