SOT: Which version of QT is most reliable?

Can't seem to find via search which version of Quicktime player has been deemed the most reliable and least prone to problems for Vegas/Windows.

Anyone enlighten me?

i'm running 7.7.4 'successfully' - but rarely have recourse to using it. as with all things apple, ymmv
