Sound Forge 8 announced

If you only visit the video board, you may have missed that Sony announced Sound Forge 8.

So who wants to calculate how long after Sound Forge 7 that Vegas 5 was announced?

V5 came out about 6 months after SF7.

I think SF7 was the first Media Software product branded SONY, so I expect it will be a bit quicker this time.

We may get an announcement at NAB yet.

Announcing the new version of Vegas in its namesake city sounds like a pretty good marketing gimmick to me......
