ran into a new one this weekend. i was at my brother's house over the holiday. he has a dvd player that i'm guessing was made around 2000. i put in a dvd i made, and there is no sound. i put the same disc in my panasonic palm theatre, and it worked fine.

so... the vegas question... what's the proper audio to render? i've been rendering and mpeg-2 file that i import into dvd workshop, but mpeg audio is
not the standard audio format for dvd. apparently some older players can't use it, so they ignore it.

any thoughts from anyone?
