sound suggestion....

I use DVDA only for making music DVD's and there are a few things not working as it should....

1. importing AC3's : Only 5.1 surround is imported correctly.
I've found AC3's that were encoded as 3/2 (5.0) and it didn't import correctly. It imports as stereo ! At the "optimize DVD" when you chose 5.1 it takes a long time to render and you end with DD 5.1, but only the front speakers are playing. Automatic and stereo both give : stereo. The same goes for AC3 that were encoded as 2/2+ (4.1 and 4.0). I made my own "fix" this way : I encoded in an external encoder an AC3 track of .001 second in 5.1. When I have an AC3 like 5.0, a simple merge of the two files on a dos prompt gives you a 5.1 AC3 (copy /b pretrack.ac3+01.ac3 final.ac3). But.... this is still recognized in DVDA as stereo. In Optimize you'll have to put the option 5.1 surround on and everything works fine !
It would be nice if this can be fixed, so that every AC3 can be imported and played correctly !
2. Suggestion : DTS import too !
