This is a simple thing and I really should know the answer, but I can't remember for the life of me...

I have a VCR tape that I captured to VF (my wedding - better get it right!). There is 2 still pictures in the video that I want to have fade into each other. So I do a "split" and overlap them a bit. Simple so far.

How do I stop the sound from also overlapping and just have the video slide along the timeline? The sound isn't important to synchronize - it's just background music.
