Microsoft is recommending to check your computer for spyware before upgrading to SP2

Just noticed this posting - anyone else using DVDA w/ SP2 and no problems? All the positive responses above mean that Sound Forge, Vegas & Architech have been tested/run w/o problems?

No problems with Vegas 4.0 & DVDA 1.0 on Windows XP SP2.

SP2 also fixed a long-standing problem with my Canopus ADVC-1394 caused by incompatible in-box 1394 driver introduced in SP1.

I just burned a DVD with Vegas 5 and DVDA 2 with no problems. However, when I try to capture, I get various little bugs. It's all with the preview screen in the Capture window. One bug is I get video but no audio until I actually start capturing. Another time, I get audio and visual but the visual is B & W. I haven't done any troubleshooting yet, so it could be something else. The funny thing is that when I look at the finished captured file, everything is fine. It seems to be limited to just the preview area in the capture window. BTW I use a Sony Hi8 analog through a Canopus ADVC 100.

I'm not a computer junkie, but I uninstalled SP2 about 2 hours after installing it... too intrusive. I hate the internet filters. I could have gone in and shut everything off, but I hate how Windows assumes you want all that crap on.

Vegas is litterally keeping me from going to the mac.
