Speed Up or Slow Down a Video Clip?

Hi all,

I've looked around in the manual file but didn't find any feature to speed up or slow down a video clip, part or whole. Is there any way to do it in VV4?

I'm presuming you mean "Speed Up or Slow Down" the moving images - yes? If so, and you have the downloadable 315 page PDF manual, all you need is page123 - Velocity Envelopes explained - You can speed up, slow down AND go backwards too. As I say p123 or go look in the index for Velocity Envelope - yeah?

I'm sorry. Too tired to miss that in the PDF file. I meant "stretching a video event", like making the man in the picture walking at a faster or slower speed. It's right there in the manual PDF file. I don't know why I didn't see it there...... :p (Ctrl-dragging the edge of an event will do.)

Yes that will also do it. However, I've found the VE makes for a smoother slow-mo.
