Speeding up video

I'm using VMS 7 and would like to speed up a couple of clips.

Is it correct that VMS can only speed up / slow down by 4X ? If so, is there any work-around to get faster than 4X ?

Would appreciate any help. Thanks !

You can render to an intermediate file and speed this up again - then you have up to16 x.
