Everytime i use the spherize effect on a video it works fine,i render it and the effect is applied elsewhere.Like its on a different part of the screen, not exactly on the spot that i applied it..
In Vegas Pro 21, I've added Spherize to one video event in a group of 7 on the timeline and then rendered the timeline. In the resulting render, Spherize only appeared on the video event to which it was applied.

How have you added the Spherize FX? To a specific video event on the timeline? Or at track level? Or some other way?
Also, do your Project Properties settings and video size (e.g. SD, HD, UHD) match the render settings? In my test, I rendered UHD (3840 x 2160) media to an UHD render.
BTW, the Spherize FX has been around a long time going back as far as Sony Vegas Pro 11 - maybe even earlier.
@Dexcon Vegas 5 (the oldest version I still can run right now) has Spherize...
I think he's meaning that it's appearing on a different location on the output screen when rendering than during preview instead of on a totally different event. I would suspect a difference in project settings vs render settings.

yes this is what i meant thank you,i dont think my settings are different because why would it only happen ONLY on the spherize effect?
Like @Dexcon, I just tried the effect, customized it, and then rendered the project, and it appeared only where it was placed on the timeline. Nowhere else.
