i'm using version 3.0b.

i trim clips by clicking the cursor at the point i want to split, splitting, then double-clicking the part i no longer want and hitting delete.

this seems to frequently leave an extra event in the audio bar which seems to be the audio portion of the deleted clip but "trimmed" to zero length so it makes no noise. but if i stretch it out i can hear the deleted audio track. is this normal? am i doing something wrong?
