Split MPEG-2 into two files?

I have 2-hour duration AVI projects. All rendering is done using the default DVD NTSC setting to archive the project onto DVD. The MPEG size will need to span 2 data DVD's. Without having to render twice to split the file is there an MPEG splitting utility that's works well?

TMPGEnc has the capability to split or join MPEGS without re-rendering.

the join mpeg-2 part if only available for x amount of days, but you can split mpeg-2 all you want.
