Split QT file across multiple CDs?

Hi there,
Assuming that my earlier finding that 30 seconds of TV video equals a gigabyte of information, is there a way to split up a movie across multiple CDs for delivery?

split the movie into two parts and have the studio where you are going, rejoin them.

Or.... (better and easier) drag the movie onto a firewire drive. Today these are relatively cheap, totally reusable and cross platform.

We do all of our VV editing onto firewire media drives for exactly the reason you are worrying about... ie, moving files to other machines for other purposes.
