Very easy. Look at Track Motion and Pan/Crop.

Not that easy.
Search "credit rolls" and you'll see why. Learn unintuitive Vegas credit roll procedure first especially when trying to slow it down, then it will be fairly easy using the cropping tools and track motion.

The credit roll is very easy to slow down. You just change the timecode "length" in the upper-right hand corner of the entry box to be the length of time you want it to scroll.

Hmmm... not that I would contradict your personal assessment of the credit-roll as far as features or anything... but my own personal expeince is that is it very easy to use... but maybe my experience is not typical?

I found it amazingly easy to setup and very easy to slow down or whatever just by adjusting the specified length in the credit-roll event properties. I use that all the time so that I can adjust the credit roll time based upon how much time I have left at the end of the program.

Sure... the credit roll feature could do with some enhancements.

Marc's very first post was Nov. 22. He said he was a newbee. I checked that first and based upon that my suggestion was made that it wouldn't be as easy as Ed suggested. I have the knack for credit rolls myself now, but a simple search will reveal that many didn't find it that easy to figure out and I don't mean just the speed. Why give a newbee a trite answer by suggesting that what he wants to do is a piece of cake when it probably won't be? Is that helpful?

Welll is it at least OK that I (or others) can I respectfully disagree with you when you are saying the credit roll will be hard to figure out?

I did not find that to be the case.. it worked fine for me... so is it not possible for someone else.. even a newbie (as I was) to find it also not all that difficult?

Of course that does not take away the possibility that someone else will not find it difficult... that may very well be the case...and then they can come back to this forum and ask for further clarification or to do a search and locate the help and clarification that has already been generated by other helpful members of this forum.

Thanks for your help guys - it really helps when you have a board like this and you are a rookie. I'll give it a try!
