Select all tracks either by using CTRL-A, or select each using the CTRL to add, and then split

Once you have selected tracks using either method do you just press 's'? I tried that & it didn't work. I'll have to try it again.

I seem to remember accidentally finding that if I place my cursor where I want an ALL tracks split, and then click outside the edit area (I use the blank area just below the menus), and THEN press S, it splits everything. If you click on ONE track, place the cursor and don't click anywhere else before you press S, it splits only that track. Been awhile. Hope I am remembering correctly.
