Splitting a long video file into smaller video files.

In Vegas Pro : From my video camera I have a long file of approximately one or two hours of concert footage. How do I put markers between songs and save as several separate clips?

It's pretty simple in soundforge I wonder if there's a similar feature in Vegas Pro?

Thank you.

On the timeline, select the section of the video event that you want to use via loop markers (the yellow in/out markers - not the 'M' markers) and then in File/Render As (Options: Render Loop Region Only) render to your chosen folder.

@WestsideSteve Hi, as @Dexcon says you can just render the Loop region (right click on the region to make it loop play), but on the timeline you can select the Loop region (the song, click Insert Region that's at the bottom of the timeline, you can do this for each song, then clicking 1, 2, 3 etc will auto highlight that Loop region, you can then highlight each & render them individually,

I bet HOS or Vegasaur etc. will batch render all regions in one go?

@Former user

There is a Vegas script that will batch render all regions in one go.
