Splitting AVI

Hi All,

I capture some footage that amounts to 25 GIGS (in one long file). One of my friends is willing to help for the first part. Since his drive only holds 15 gigs, I would like to spilt the AVI into 3 parts and give him about 8 gigs (which is the footage he needs)...is there a way to do this or must I re-capture?

If you have the disk space, put the AVI on the timeline in Vegas. Split into three pieces, delete two of the pieces and create a new AVI of the leftover.
