Yup, that would be me. We were Beta testing the video side of Vegas at about that point in time, but we were using the audio tools long before. I can't express how ecstatic I was to lose the ProTools system in favor of Vegas at the time. From crash to creative almost overnight. ProTools 4 was a nightmare. OS8 was stable, and was better than 98Se for graphics and audio for the most part. At that point, I was really straddling the Mac and PC line still. Used PC for midi and until Vegas used Mac for audio, with a Lynx controlling it all. Dang, that was a while ago, seems like. Too bad the article doesn't have the pic that ran in Mix. I kinda miss the old console.
