SPOT - what about the upper midwest??? / Anyone - Experience with black stretch?

I had asked in a different post, but I don't think you had posted an answer. Are you ever going to be holding anything in the Upper midwest? IE. Minneapolis MN or somewhere near there? I would be sure that there are plenty of people arround this area that would be interested in a conference thing.

Also I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with black stretch on the Z1 or other cameras that have this as an option. How does it work? What exactly does it do?

We've looked at doing Minneapolis. Email me privately, we can discuss it, always interested, and the twin cities sure have a kickin' media scene!
I'll ask Sony if we can post some footage from the Z1, but so far, the answer's always been "no," not until it's shipping.

Black stretch provides you with a greater dynamic range, by raising the blacks.
