Start up Problem in Vegas Video 2.0

Hi guys,
I have Vegas 2.0 and everything was fine. However, out of the blue it just wont open. Niether will vid cap. I've unistalled and reinstalled several times.
I'm running Win 2K. Any thoughts?

when you uninstalled, did you delete the whole Vegas folder structure to make sure everything was really gone? very strange problem... never heard of it before.
