Static

I was having problems with Movie Studio 17 quitting frequently, so I uninstalled and reinstalled. I'm using Windows 10 Pro. After reinstalling, I'm now getting very loud static from my speakers whenever I play audio. The audio I want is also playing, but it is completely overwhelmed by the static. I did uninstall the Music Maker and Magix Sound (can't remember the exact names) programs, as I probably won't need them, and it may be something connected to one of these programs.

I'm having the same weird issue. Whenever I start playing audio while Movie Studio 17 is running (even after I close it), I get really loud static coming from the right speaker on my laptop. As soon as I pause the music or stop whatever I'm playing the static will stop. I have to completely reboot my PC to be able to use my speakers again and can't open Movie Studio 17 without the static sound coming back.

I'm having the same problem. Once it starts it affects all audio files whether in the Movie Studio program or not. I have to restart to be able to listen to audio. Then once I start up Movie Studio 16 again, the static comes back. Did you ever find a solution?

No - I never got an answer. The problem does seem to have gone away, though.
