If you have to shoot video with your smartphone, this looks like a new good option. There is also a CES 2017 Special of $139.00 (shipped anywhere) on the Kickstarter (for June 2017 delivery.)

It puzzles me when long-established companies fund their product development through Kickstarter. Seems a bit cheeky, like an extreme form of pre-ordering, but if people are willing to pay then fair enough. Also, not available until June but has already won a CES Innovation Award. Doesn't sound right.
The Kickstarter thing had me scratching my head a bit, too.
