Has anyone tried using Steinberg's Midex 8 or Midex 3 midi interfaces along with Vegas or Acid? I'm interested in learning more about the LTB feature in these midi interfaces. Steinberg compares LTB for midi timecode to ASIO. For timecode syncing, would the software also have to support the LTB protocol or by the software just having midi beat clock functionality would it be able to take advantage of the LTB feature giving it a higher resolution timecode sync? How has this midi interfaces worked for you as far as setup and ease of use? What OS are you running it on?
