I have Movie Studio 8 and I need a good Audio Editing program.

I want to be able to Ad an effect like speed up the sound on say just the Left Track and keep the Right Trackj as is.

Now a lot of program let you do this but when you save it say as WAV File it gets mixed togather.

I need a good program that will let me keep both Track separated even after exporting.

Can anyone help?

This sort of thing is pretty easy in Movie Studio. Import the audio twice onto two separate tracks. Right-mouse-button click on the audio in one of the tracks and from the popup menu choose Channels / Left only, and on the other choose Channels / Right only. Pan the first track all the way to the left, and the second one all the way to the right. Now you can work with each channel independently.

Simplest way to speed up sound in Movie Studio is to hold the Ctrl key down while dragging the end of the sound clip to the left. the farther you drag it, the faster it will play.
