Stiill Images sizing

Anyone have any advice on how to ensure that my entire image shows up on the tv screen when rendered to a DVD? I have a number of images with text on the very top- almost like a comic strip with the bubble for what the characters are saying. Problem is that when I dropped my files in Vegas, there were all 640x480- I wasn't even thinking about how the image would be cropped when shown on tv. So if I resize the image to 720x480 is that all it takes? Or should I simply extend the image so that there is extra border around it so that the meat of the image fits in the "safe zone"?

Thanks (trying to bang out a final x-mas gift!)

Tick tock

Make a template in your photo program , that is in safe title ( do some quick samples and drop in vegas till the text is right) either that or crop each shot in vegas.
Good luck !! tick ,tick tick ,tick.................................

If you're wanting to keep the entire image within the safe zone, you could simply add the images to the timeline (which will automatically resize them to fit as well as possible) and then use Track Motion to resize them all smaller with one simple change for ALL images. Just adjust Track Motion so that they fall inside the safe area.

Shortcut Software's Photozoom will batch resize photos with the highest quality I've ever seen, though that might be overkill in this situation.
