Still image frames

I am adding many still images to a Vegas 4 project. As far as I can tell, the default is 54 frames for each image. Can anybody tell me if there is a way to specify a different default number of frames? Better still, is there a way to specify how long (in seconds) an image is shown?

Also, is there a way to automatically have a given number of images play for a specified time or play for the same length as the audio track?

Thanks

i just had a play, this is how i did it:
insert viedo track
go to explorer window
drag chosen image onto video track
carefully select the very end on the inserted image/clip (the mouse pointer will turn to a horizontal line with arorws at either end and square around one of the arrows.
click and drage to desired lenght

hope this helps

try: Options\Prefrences\Editing [tab]
there you can preset the New Still Image Length

hope this helps

Well, for animating purposes, if you number the files in the order you would like them to play, then select all of them under the file>open menu, you can check still image sequence. I'm not sure how to set the default time for that though...maybe someone else can help you on that one. Hope this answered your question.

I used Trichrome's options menu trick and it worked!

Thanks to all!
