Still IMages

I have been trying to import still images into the time line but when they are dropped onto the time line they only take one frame instead of the default time that is to be used for still images. It appears to work fine for jpeg images but everything that I use which comes from many differnent sources are in Photoshop format. These same picture work fine for Screenblast V3.0b.

HAs anyone else seen this??
I have sent a email to Sony Tech Support but have not recieved any reply!!!!

I have also noticed that if you click on the FX button of an image file and you try to use the PAN/ZOOM functionality the image does not show up in the preview screen. (PAN/ZOOM preview), and again this did work in the Screenblast V3.0b.

If any one has seen this let me know.

Thanks
ROn

I just tried to use pan/zoom on some still images in v4 and did not have any preview problems. They previewed fine. I used a PSD and a JPG file.

I'll try and recreate the first problem in a bit and let you know.

Have SP2 installed? This may be the problem. Maybe uninstall and re-install VMS4 again. I have a fresh system with SP2 installed. I loaded VMS4.
Works OK.

I have a clean system also and running service pack 2. Are you using images that are saved in Photoshop format? (PSD files) I have tried JPEG formats and they work fine.

It looks like a VMS4 bug with psd files - it's fine under MS3! XP Pro, SP1
