still images not filling the frame

I'm using some still images. I formatted them all to be 760x480 pixels prior to importing them into Movie Studio.

Most fill the frame exactly, but a couple of them appear with black areas above and below - as though they were "stretched' horizontally and not vertically.

How can I make this images fill the frame exactly?
thanks!

Why 760x480? That's a pretty strange size. If you're working in regular SD then you should use 655x480. If you're working in widescreen then they should be 853x480.

Rather than bothering to resize though, it's probably faster and easier to open up Pan/Crop on the image, right-mouse-button click in the cropping frame, and choose 'match output aspect'.

ah. didn't realize that about the aspect ratios (I'm new to working in the video environ). at least all the images on my first I did try the Pan/Crop, but still get the black strips across the top/bottom of a couple of images. I'll try it again, and post again if I still have a problem.
thanks!
