Still need help with Viscosity, please SonicEPM!

Hi,

I am trying to paint on an event. I take an event and render it as uncompressed in VV2.0. I open the event in Viscosity and do the painting.
Then I save the event as uncompressed in Viscosity, and put it back in VV2.0.
For some reason, the event is now slightly compressed on the top and bottom. What am I doing wrong? Viscosity is pretty much worthless to me if i cant get events back in that are not compressed.

My system is a compag with 1.3G Athlon, 512M ram.

In Viscosity, i hit save as and the compressor options was set to video #1.
the compressor was set to full frames uncompressed.

My Vegas project settings when i render to uncompressed are:

video render quality best
motion blur none
frame size 720^480 ntsc
frame rate 29.970 ntsc
lower field first
aspect ratio .909
video format uncompressed
interleave every .250 sec
render alpha channel
create open DML

Thanks for any help,

Dave

Once you reload the Viscosity clip in Vegas, set the pixel aspect ratio for the media file to .9091. The black bars on the top/bottom will be gone.

Thanks again

bring the viscosity-saved avi into Vegas, and place it on the Vegas timeline. Right click on the video event>properties>media>pixel aspect ratio>set to .9091
