StillMotion Saved My A#@

I wanted to pass along my thanks to DSE, JohnnyRoy, and the rest of the gang at VASST for developing the StillMotion plug-in for slide shows and image manipulation.

Long story short, last July, a friend of mine who owned a digital photography franchise, covered a three-day multi-year high school class reunion, shooting well over 1,500 pictures. Before I ever became involved with the project, he had pre-sold over 90 copies of a DVD containing event shots mixed to music. In early August, he touched base with me regarding how best to manipulate these photos with music.

On August 5th, he and I shot a short video intro with a reunion committee member. The next day, he was found dead in his home of natural causes. To help his family, I agreed to finish the project that he started.

In October, I ordered StillMotion. This software was a life-saver! The project is nearly completed (delays were because the reunion committee wanted to find more pictures in addition to the ones the photographer made), and we’re about to go into final post after six months.

I recommend it to anyone considering any type of still image manipulation software.

Very best regards,
James in Virginia

James,

I’m glad that StillMotion helped you out. I do a lot of photo montages so that particular tool started as a compilation of a bunch of scripts I had written for myself and then augmented with ideas from Spot and customers like yourself. I can’t imagine doing a photo montage manually anymore. Thanks for the kind words.
