Stills fill frame

My stills don't match the video frame aspect. In Pro8b, how do I insert stills to fill the frame and eliminate the black bars either on the top/bottom or sides without having to trim them beforehand in Photoshop?

Can't find the reference for this in the index.

Click the green square symbol on the clip. When the window appears right-click on the big "F" and select "Match output aspect".

Open Pan/Crop, right-click in the middle of the screen and select Match Output Aspect.
Be advised that some cropping of the image may occur when you do this.
So that you don't have to repeat these steps for subsequent images, copy the first (corrected) image, shift-click the rest of them, right-click and select Paste Event Attributes.

Right Click on the image->Switches-> Uncheck "Maintain Aspect Ratio"

Of course, doing this will distort the aspect in whatever axis you originally had the black bars.
