I tried changing the "play past end of project" setting in internal preferences. But it did not work. The default is like 20,000,000 (is THAT milliseconds or what?). Maybe I need to close software and re-open?

I also changed the "play past end of project" value and it didn't work.
I used the following values and couldn't notice any difference at all: 0 / 1 / 10 /100 / 1000.
I also restarted Vegas and the setting is still not working.
Any direction on how to tweak that setting properly is very welcomed.

After many trials and errors, I found out that the meaning of that "strange" number is 2 seconds!! However it is not in milliseconds or even in microseconds! Because 2 seconds = 2000 ms = 2,000,000 µs
It seem like that we cannot set the playback to stop before 2 minutes! We can only set it to stop at 2 minutes or over! It would be nice for the development team to add the ability for the playback to stop automatically right after the event ends, regardless of the duration.
