Yes, I know that there are many "wish lists" for Vegas. I love the Vegas software though I am not that good at it.
Still, when I put together a project I almost always go back to MS moviemaker storyboard mode as crappy as the movies look in moviemaker because I love the simplicity of the storyboard mode and the speed at which new ideas can be displayed.
Also, while the flash animation import capability in Vegas is useful (I guess though I do not use it), powerpoint animations are far simpler to implement (even though I do make flash movies and love the power) and more useful of ones time. Sony could make a ton of money just marketing Vegas as a general purpose Powerpoint to wmv renderer. I know the other products in the market and there are no good solutions to this problem.
