Nero is my all round end-of-process burn engine. It never fails with me and is very safe. I have thrown away too many disks in my life to start changing my burning habits when I am happy with a burner...
Although Nero's burning engine is famous, DVDA's preparation process is cool and well designed.
I made a home dvd today this way, and Nero reported a strange warning when I started the burn process: "DVD may not be playable. DVD videofiles reallocation failed. Filesize is not a multiple of a logical block size (2kb)". I decided to continue the process (on a DVD-RW), and in the end did not encounter the announced reading problem.
Is DVDA not 100% compliant with DVD making rules ? It must be a small problem (as it doesn't result in stopping the dvd from playing), but it may be a problem on certain players... I thought is may interest you to know about this.
