Using a Layla 24 interface. I recently purchased a Presonus Central Station so I can bypass my console for final mixing tweaks and have the Layla spidf output into the CS to take advantage of its better converters. When burning a CD, if spdif is selected as master output in Vegas (or Acid 6) the results are that the track markers are burned but no audio - only silence. When Layla analog out 1/2 is selected as master (as I've done for years), the CD burn results are fine as usual. This makes absolutely no sense to me at all. Can someone please explain how this is even possible???
