Ok another question regarding timing video clips to cut in & out in sync to music..
For example, when I set a marker at the exact point in the song where the clip should start then pull the video to snap to the marker it plays in sync within the Movie Studio preview. This is good.
If I save the project to an avi and view it on my computer the clip cuts in too fast (before the marker). I'm not using auto-crossfades, just bumping one clip up against another.
So my solution has been to experiment with moving the clip to a place somewhere before my marker, save to avi, and see if the timing looks right. The problems with this method are obvious.
I suppose I don't really understand what I'm doing wrong. I have other sections of my video that are not exhibiting this issue.
This may be important - in this particular section there are already 2 smaller tracks of video in each corner of the screen and I am trying to add a 3rd track of small video which cuts in to a specific beat in the music.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
